About Stephanie: Stephanie has been riding for 18 years in the Northeastern Kansas area. She started showing western pleasure, horsemanship, showmanship and halter at AQHA shows. Six years later she switched to english and started showing in hunter under saddle and hunt seat equitation at the AQHA shows. Stephanie and her mare, The Perfect Star have won 10 open all-around awards and 7 reserve open all-around awards at AQHA shows. Most recently, Stephanie has been showing at Hunter/Jumper shows, rated and unrated.
While in college at Kansas State University, she rode for the women's varsity equestrian team. Stephanie rode on the english team for two and a half years and the western team for one year. While on the english team Stephanie qualified to go to regionals, then nationals, where she placed 5th over fences. She was also selected to represent KSU's english team at nationals.
Stephanie has done everything from helping a mare foal, teaching a foal to tie and lead, starting two year olds, to keeping trained horses tuned up for their riders. She has experience fitting halter horses for show, teaching horses showmanship and longe line work.
